Pat Dennis: double single!

Prolific singer-songwriter Pat Dennis has released his Christmas single “The Cold Wind Of Christmas” on digital streaming platforms. This is a double release, with the new song “Other Rooms” coming with it as a “B” side.
“The Cold Wind Of Christmas” was recorded during a break in the sessions for the ‘Mutineer’ album in November 2020. Produced and recorded by Scott Smith at the Bread Street Blues Kitchen it features Pat on guitar and vocal with special guest Shelby Colt from the Gallowgate Murders on backing vocals. Scott Smith plays all other instruments.
“Other Rooms” is from the very same “lost album” sessions that gave us “Goin West”, “Frankie Jones” and “I Hear A Train” from the “Two Tall Pines” EP. Recorded by Shane Morgan, it is one of the last salvaged tracks from those sessions. Recorded in a hallway with only two mics and a guitar, it is a ‘stripped bare’ rendition which is the way Pat intended to be.
