Katherine Aly is a Greek singer/songwriter based in Scotland. Her melody-driven tracks are a multi-genre experimentation with ethereal, lyrical elements and dreamy ambience. A versatile artist, Katherine fronted indie bands, like Lilac Melt and Stars & Molecules and collaborated with various artists like Glassmasterer, False Bliss, Midi Paul and Sheltering Waves.
With a haunting vocal accompanied by Rob Harrison on piano and Bruce Wallace’s subtle guitar work, Katherine’s solo single “The Skin I’m Made Of”, dropped May 2019, was followed by “Sunny Days” and both were just a taster of things to come.
Katherine now has several singles and an album released elsewhere as a solo artist and continues to collaborate with exciting artists and musical projects on the Scottish music scene. She is a great friend and a source of inspiration and encouragement.
